Deanna is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 1981. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1984. Ms. Dean-Webster practiced for five years in Louisiana, concentrating on civil litigation, before returning home to Indiana in 1989. Back home again in Indiana, Deanna has continued to concentrate on civil litigation, and has also added to her practice a focus in family law, both of which she finds exceptionally rewarding. Between matters in these and other areas, she has had numerous jury and bench trials throughout Indiana.
Deanna is currently a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Dean-Webster has been recognized by the Indiana Bar Association as a Certified Family Law Specialist beginning in 2002, and was recently recognized by her inclusion in the Indianapolis Bar Association’s 2009 Hall of Fame for her rewarding work with the Indianapolis Bar Association Homeless Project, a Pro Bono volunteer organization offering legal aid ad assistance to those who are experiencing the toughest of times.
As a Certified Family Law Specialist, Deanna is excited about incorporating Collaborative Law into her family law practice. Collaborative Law provides an opportunity different than traditional litigation for divorcing couples to maintain respect, civility and privacy in legally ending their marriage. Rather than seeing each other as adversaries through the legal process, couples strive together, outside Court and the traditional judicial process, to end their union making joint decisions in the best interests of all concerned, including their children.
Deanna’s personal life is just a rewarding as her work for her clients. She and her husband David have been married for over 20 years, and are the parents of two children. In her free time, Deanna enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, and relaxing around the house.
